PLEDGE
India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters.
I love my country and I am proud of its rich, and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders respect ant treat everyone with courtesy.
To my country and to my people. I pledge my devotion. In their well-being and prosperity alone, lies my happiness.

OUR DAILY PRAYER
At home or at school
Wherever I may be
One thought I remember,
That is good to know
It stays in my heart
A happy little song.
That God takes care of me
The whole day long.
Dear Lord, bless us
And make us good and kind.
Bless our parents, our teachers, our
friends, our school and our Country.
Oh, Lord, we offer this day
All we shall think or do or say.
Oh Lord, we ask for your help this day;
To say the words you would have us say
To do the things you would have us do,
To follow you the whole day through. |
GITANJALI
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into
the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever widening thought and action.
into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
(Rabindranath Tagore)

SCHOOL HYMN
O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast
And our eternal home.
Under the shadow of Thy throne,
Thy saints have dwelt secure,
Sufficient is thine arm alone
And our defence is sure.
Before the hills in order stood,
Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same.
A thousand ages in Thy sight
Are like an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.
O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our guard while life shall last,
And our eternal home. |
