THE VIKASA SCHOOL, TUTICORIN VIK/P-CIR/2009-’10/007 18.6.2009 To Class I to IX & XI Parents, Dear Parent, Sub : Swimming Coaching Class 2009-‘10 We have planned to conduct special swimming classes to further improve the quality of swimming and the Swimming coach has agreed to conduct the classes regularly according to the following schedule. Class - I to III-Learn to Swim & Intensive Swimming on Mondays & Tuesdays Class – IV to VII - Learn to Swim & Intensive Swimming on Wednesdays & Thursdays Class – VIII to IX & XI - Learn to Swim & Intensive Swimming on Wednesdays & Thursdays Children who are good in swimming would be selected for the school swimming team and they would have special work outs on Fridays & Saturdays. The timing for Learn to Swim will be between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm where as the timing for the Swimming Team will be between 4pm and 5 pm for girls and between 5 pm and 6 pm for boys respectively. Swimming team will be given additional work-outs if the team members agree on the extra time schedule. Swimming coach will escort the children from the Main School. Learn to Swim and Intensive swimming members will have to pay Rs.300/- per term and for the school team members the charges will be Rs. 400/- per term. The schedule commences from 29.06.’09. Children not in swimming team will not be considered for the outside swimming competitions where the school team is represented. If you wish that your child should undergo training for selection into the team, please fill in the tear off slip and make the requisite payment to the school office on or before 24th June ’09.           MEETING SCHEDULES : The association must have atleast 3 meetings in one academic year. These include Annual General Body meeting Enrollment meeting Executive meeting, that should be held for atleast twice a year. The Executive committee consists of 5 members and must meet atleast twice a year with 60% attendance of the members along with the head of the institution. The result of the meeting must be minuted and hosted on the website.
